Orkeeswa Incubator supports the long-term impact of Orkeeswa alumni by providing the resources, mentorship, and opportunities they need to thrive beyond secondary school. “I started my organization with a focus on three things: taking care of our environment, starting vegetable gardens, and economic empowerment for women. Today we are impacting 3,870 women and have planted 175,431 trees. I feel that I am fulfilling Orkeeswa’s mission because I know that the problem solvers in our communities are us. My ideal village is one in which a majority of women stand on their own and do what they are capable of.”
